Proserpine State School is a part of the Proserpine District Primary School's Sporting Association. As part of this association, students have an opportunity to play representative sport across a number of sports. These sports include: |

Students selected in Proserpine District Teams participate in trials to make the Whitsunday Zone Team which includes schools from Bowen and Collinsville. Selection in this team leads to participation in trials to gain selection in the Northern Region Team and ultimately attend State Trials. District selection is open to students in the following age groups:
